The LyfeLite Emergency LED bulb uses a battery back up system. During a power outage, the battery can power the light bulb for 6-8 hours, giving you natural light in emergency situations. The LyfeLite Emergency LED bulb is also intelligent enough to recognize when your light switch is on or off, so you can still control it by using the switch during a power outage.

Incandescent and CFL light bulbs emit light and heat in all directions, which wastes light and energy. LED light bulbs are much more efficient. Using less wattage, LED light bulbs produce the same amount of light and almost no heat. LED light bulbs are basically cool to the touch.

LED light bulbs are energy efficient, eco-friendly, and long lasting. LED light bulbs are about 75% more efficient than incandescent light bulbs, which means they will save you money on your electric bill. LyfeLite is also eco friendly and do not contain lead, or mercury. LyfeLite bulbs have a plastic shell, which prevent them from being damaged as easily as an incandescent bulb. They have been tested to last longer than incandescent light bulbs, which means you won't have to replace them as often.

Remove the LyfeLite Emergency LED bulb from it's packaging and screw it in to any of your common household light fixtures. The battery back up system is being charged whenever your LyfeLite Emergency LED bulb is being used.

The difference between Daylight and Soft White is all about the color temperature of the bulb. Our Soft White give off more of an amber glow, while our Daylight bulbs give off more of a bright white appearance. Typically, warm light is more suitable for living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms. Cool light is typically used for settings where very bright illumination is needed. Places in your home that may be suitable for cool light include kitchens, bathroom vanity mirrors, and home office space.
